	OOS and Columbus Audubon, with support of BSBO/OYBC, are making several student scholarships available to young birders for the Waterfowl Symposium in Columbus, Ohio at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, February 26-28. Deadline for application for a student scholarship is February 15th. Please contact Kathy McDonald (513-941-6497) or email her: kmc@one.net. If you know of a young person interested in birds and birding, please forward this message to them asap! We'd love to have them attend. FYI: the Friday evening portion of the weekend is a benefit concert for Nature Iraq featuring The Swinging Orangutangs (Julie Zickefoose, Bill Thompson III, and friends): alcohol will be served... so perhaps students may wish to attend just the Saturday and Sunday of the weekend :)
